Creative Media Skills are located at the heart of the studios in the old props building. We have a state of the art space designed to meet the changing and bespoke needs of all our course participants. As many of our courses are designed for professionals who have already been working in the industry for some years, our facilities and equipment are modern and fit for purpose. Being at the heart of the action enables participants to experience the energy of the filmmaking world, which is tangible even when walking past the different stages and workshops. In this way, participants are invited to join in with the many different facets of the film world they are about to enter, and more importantly forge invaluable connections.
“At this moment in time, the Creative Industries and particularly the Film Industry is bigger and better than it has ever been, however there are still huge skills shortages. It is therefore of the utmost importance to focus on the future generation of filmmakers, cultivating new talent and ensuring the industry is open to a wide and diverse pool of people across the UK and Internationally. We are delighted to have a provider such as Creative Media Skills based here in the heart of Pinewood Studios providing high level industry led training, which is targeting our greatest areas of need.” Andrew Smith, Director of Corporate Affairs, Pinewood Studios.
