Course leader Louise Young has been a highly successful make-up artist for over 30 years working in film, fashion, television and theatre. Louise’s work can be see in Florence Foster Jenkins, Allied, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Pride and Prejudice, to name a few.

As well as working on some of the most famous faces and popular film and television productions, Louise also lectures in media make-up throughout the UK and has written HND and Btec National Diploma Courses in the subject.

In 2007 Louise launched her own line of premium, handmade make-up brushes and shortly followed with a line of colour cosmetics. Louise’s brushes and make-up products are firm favourites amongst professionals and enthusiasts a-like and can often be spotted in the kits of some of the worlds leading make-up artists.

Keen to ensure that historically accurate techniques and styles are kept alive, Louise teamed up with renowned hair stylist Lou Sheppard to create the best selling book Timeless: A Century of Iconic Looks. ‘Timeless’ is the definitive step-by-step guide to recreating the most striking make-up and hair styles of the 20th century.
