Course leader Lou Sheppard is one of the UK’s most respected and acclaimed hairdressers. She has recently been nominated for an Oscar for her design work in Victoria & Abdul.

Three times nominated for a prestigious Emmy Award, Lou has created highly complicated and technically adept work. This work is seen on both the big and small screens. Lou is responsible for Reece Witherspoon’s look in Vanity Fair, as well as the looks of leading ladies such as Keira Knightly in The Duchess.  Dame Judi Dench in Mrs Henderson Presents. Miranda Richardson and Emmy Rosen in Phantom of the Opera. She established Marion Cottilard’s look in La Vie En Rose and also worked with Red 2‘s Dame Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta Jones and Sir Anthony Hopkins; Gemma Arterton in Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters HOD and Mia Waskowska in Jane Eyre.
