About Us

Creative Media Skills work hand in hand with the industry and the companies that support it, to facilitate their specific and targeted training requirements at the top level. CMS is the trusted platform where top UK screen professionals are able to pass on their huge amounts of experience and knowledge to the next generation of crew at an internationally unrivalled level in the workplace.

The UK film industry currently contributes £7.7bn to the economy currently employing 80,000 people (ref)

The British Film Institute recognise in their recent Future Film Skills report that there will be more than 30,000 new opportunities in the screen sector over the next 5 years, and they have made clear the important responsibility that the industry has to future proof the transferring of knowledge to the next generation of international crew. Creative Media Skills answer this need directly (ref).

Where traditional higher education has failed to equip learners with the skills required, the CMS  platform enables award winning screen industry professionals to pass on their invaluable knowledge and expertise to the next generation of crew directly from set, ensuring learners are industry ready.
We are placed within the heart of Pinewood, which allows us to ensure that each and every training opportunity is unique, state of the art and world class.  We welcome exclusive groups of participants for our industry led training opportunities.
